Lower Sixth pupil raises over £10,000 for ݮƵ Youth Trust
Lower Sixth pupil, Krishnav, has raised an amazing £10,828 for ݮƵ Youth Trust (HYT) through the sale of House branded clothing.
As soon as he heard about the wonderful work undertaken by HYT, Krishnav knew he wanted to get involved and he began looking for ways to raise funds for the charity. Knowing how important Boarding Houses are to ݮƵ, Krishnav quickly hit upon the idea that pupils would enjoy wearing clothing branded with their own House logos.
Krishnav decided he would produce two items of clothing, a hoodie and joggers, for each of the Houses. He then single-handedly managed the whole process from design to sourcing a factory that could produce the garments. Finally, in October, Krishnav launched the sale of the House clothing in Assembly, displayed posters around the School, emailed an order form to all pupils and processed all the resulting orders.

HYT is an that trains young people in climate-friendly construction and builds schools, homes and water tanks. 
Krishnav’s hard work and fundraising will help some of Africa’s most marginalised people.
