Founded in 1862 by Royal Charter, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ is a co-educational boarding and day school for ages 11-18 that offers a stimulating environment for boys and girls to challenge themselves, discover their identity and develop into confident and generous adults.
Located in rural Hertfordshire, England, just 20 miles north of London, the School offers a 21st-century education for pupils, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence, co-curricular activities and fostering a sense of community. The School is situated on a breathtaking 500-acre site known for its blend of iconic historic buildings and modern facilities, strong exam results, and a diverse curriculum including the IB Diploma, A Levels, and GCSEs. From its earliest inception, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ has been an outward-looking community; indeed as early as 1892, a school bearing the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ name was established by Old ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵian Charles Rendall across the world in Australia. Today, the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Education Group has grown to encompass a strong and vibrant association of schools around the world, each with its own history, heritage and local context, all delivering the holistic education the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ name has become synonymous with.

Dr Maghin Tamilarasan Director of Domestic and International Partnerships
Maghin joined ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ in August 2025. His previous roles include International Development Director at Shrewsbury School, a co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 4-18, as well as several senior roles in industry covering global strategy, business development, operations and technology management, most recently with Rolls-Royce plc. He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and has held a number of directorships and board positions across sectors.
